An “Amazing Stories” Update

With the Fullerverse focused on American Gods, it is easy to forget that Bryan Fuller has another show up his sleeve: Amazing Stories. It’s a reboot from the original series by the same title, a sci-fi horror television show which ran on NBC for 2 seasons from 1987 to 1989 and won 5 Emmys. The new series was created by Steven Spielberg and just like the original, this reboot will have him working fairly closely on the development of it.

It was announced just recently that Amazing Stories would possibly be picked up by Apple. Apple has been hinting at creating their own streaming service with original series, much like Amazon Prime, Netflix, and Hulu. So, it was only a matter of time before Apple joined the game. Picking up Amazing Stories gives the show a great possibility for viewership from Fullerverse fans, to Spielberg fans, to fans of the original show and so on.

No other news has been reported about the series, but it’s only a matter of time before more information is revealed. Till then bide your time by re-watching Bryan Fuller’s other shows or maybe delving into the original Amazing Stories to really understand what’s to come!
